Are Perpetual Points Sufficient for Locating Hidden Attractors?
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2017Perpetual Points (PPs) have been introduced as an interesting new topic in nonlinear dynamics, and there is a conjecture that these points can be used to find hidden attractors. This note demonstrates some examples where PPs cannot locate their hidden attractors.

For a long time it was thought that there is no attractor in the system; later, only one, so-called hidden attractor was discovered. In fact there are up to two hidden attractors close together.

As demonstrated in previous research papers, evolutionary algorithms are capable of chaotic system control, identification or synthesis and vice versa, chaos can be observed in the evolutionary dynamics.

Memristive non-linear system and hidden attractor
The European Physical Journal Special Topics, 2015Effects of memristor on non-linear dynamical systems exhibiting chaos are analysed both form the view point of theory and experiment. It is observed that the memristive system has always fewer number of fixed points than the original one. Sometimes there is no fixed point in the memristive system. But its chaotic properties are retained.
