Strategic Eurasian Natural Gas Model for Energy Security

open access: yes, 2012
The mathematical formulation of a large-scale equilibrium natural gas simulation model is presented. Although large-scale natural gas models have been developed and used for energy security and policy analysis quite extensively (e.g., Holz (2007), Egging

Game-theoretic methods for security and resilience in cyber-physical systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Modern critical infrastructures are highly integrated systems composed of many complex interactions between different system modules or agents including cyber and physical components as well as human factors. Their growing complexity demands novel design

Bi- and Multi Level Game Theoretic Approaches in Mechanical Design

open access: yes, 2013
This dissertation presents a game theoretic approach to solve bi and multi-level optimization problems arising in mechanical design. Toward this end, Stackelberg (leader-follower), Nash, as well as cooperative game formulations are considered.

Learning in Stochastic Stackelberg Games

open access: yes
The original definition of Nash Equilibrium applied to normal form games, but the notion has now been extended to various other forms of games including leader-follower games (Stackelberg games), extensive form games, stochastic games, games of ...

Including Social Nash Equilibria in Abstract Economies [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider quasi-variational problems (variational problems having constraint sets depending on their own solutions) which appear in concrete economic models such as social and economic networks, financial derivative models, transportation network ...

open access: yes
This document presents a research study focused on developing a coevolutionary optimization model specifically designed to address the Urban Transport Network Design Problem (UTNDP).

Traffic information and route choice : experimental games between users and traffic management agent

open access: yes, 2010

Distributed Gradient Tracking Methods with Guarantees for Computing a Solution to Stochastic MPECs

open access: yes
We consider a class of hierarchical multi-agent optimization problems over networks where agents seek to compute an approximate solution to a single-stage stochastic mathematical program with equilibrium constraints (MPEC).
