On the dbar-dressing method applicable to heavenly equation [PDF]
The $\dbar$-dressing scheme based on local nonlinear vector $\dbar$-problem is developed. It is applicable to multidimensional nonlinear equations for vector fields, and, after Hamiltonian reduction, to heavenly equation.

Supersymmetric solution of gauge hierarchy problem [PDF]
Some recent developments with respect to the resolution of the gauge hierarchy problem in grand unified theories by supersymmetry are presented. A general argument is developed to show how global supersymmetry maintains the stability of the different mass-scales under perturbative effects.

Model-Checking Problems as a Basis for Parameterized Intractability [PDF]
Most parameterized complexity classes are defined in terms of a parameterized version of the Boolean satisfiability problem (the so-called weighted satisfiability problem). For example, Downey and Fellow's W-hierarchy is of this form.

Gauge hierarchy problem and scalegenesis [PDF]
We review the gauge hierarchy problem in the standard model. We discuss the meaning of the quadratic divergence in terms of the Wilsonian renormalization group. Classical scale symmetry, which prohibits dimensionful parameters in the bare action, could play a key role for the understanding of the origin of the electroweak scale.

Asymmetrical bloch branes and the hierarchy problem
We investigate a two scalar fields split braneworld model which leads to a possible approach to the hierarchy problem within the thick brane scenario. The model exhibits a resulting asymmetric warp factor suitable for this purpose.

The Hierarchy Problem and an Exotic Bound State
The Multiple Point Principle, according to which there exist many vacuum states with the same energy density, is put forward as a fine-tuning mechanism.

Inflating Intersecting Branes and Remarks on the Hierarchy Problem [PDF]
We generalize solutions of Einstein's equations for intersecting branes in higher dimensional spacetimes to the nonstatic case, modeling an expanding universe.

ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

The Hierarchy Solution to the LHC Inverse Problem
Supersymmetric (SUSY) models, even those described by relatively few parameters, generically allow many possible SUSY particle (sparticle) mass hierarchies.
