Whitham hierarchy in growth problems [PDF]
We discuss the recently established equivalence between the Laplacian growth in the limit of zero surface tension and the universal Whitham hierarchy known in soliton theory. This equivalence allows one to distinguish a class of exact solutions to the Laplacian growth problem in the multiply-connected case.

Microplastics from Wearable Bioelectronic Devices: Sources, Risks, and Sustainable Solutions
Bioelectronic devices (e.g., e‐skins) heavily rely on polymers that at the end of their life cycle will generate microplastics. For research, a holistic approach to viewing the full impact of such devices cannot be overlooked. The potential for devices as sources for microplastics is raised, with mitigation strategies surrounding polysaccharide and ...

Selection Strategies for Flexible Pressure Sensor Electrode Materials Toward Ultrafast Response
This study reveals, for the first time, how the electrode–organic interface governs the temporal performance of flexible pressure sensors. By pairing high‐conductivity CVD PEDOT with commonly used metal electrodes, the authors demonstrate that interfacial energy alignment dictates microsecond‐scale response, providing a straightforward design strategy ...

Explicit Solutions and Conservation Laws for a New Integrable Lattice Hierarchy
An integrable lattice hierarchy is derived on the basis of a new matrix spectral problem. Then, some properties of this hierarchy are shown, such as the Liouville integrability, the bi-Hamiltonian structure, and infinitely many conservation laws.
