Reweighting a parton shower using a neural network: the final-state case

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
The use of QCD calculations that include the resummation of soft-collinear logarithms via parton-shower algorithms is currently not possible in PDF fits due to the high computational cost of evaluating observables for each variation of the PDFs ...

Higgs-sector solitons

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1995
We establish the existence of static, classically-stable, winding solitons in renormalizable three-dimensional gauge models, with topologically trivial target space and vacuum manifold. They are prototypes for possible analogous particle-like excitations in the higgs sector of the standard electroweak theory.

Bayesian approach to inverse problems: an application to NNPDF closure testing

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We discuss the Bayesian approach to the solution of inverse problems and apply the formalism to analyse the closure tests performed by the NNPDF collaboration.

Renormalization of gluonic leading-twist operators in covariant gauges

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We provide the all-loop structure of gauge-variant operators required for the renormalisation of Green’s functions with insertions of twist-two operators in Yang-Mills theory.

Higgs Mixing in the NMSSM and Light Higgsinos

open access: yes, 2014
We explore the effects of Higgs mixing in the general next-to-minimal supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM). Extended to include a gauge singlet, the Higgs sector can naturally explain the observed Higgs boson mass in TeV scale supersymmetry without ...

The decay constants f D and fDs $$ {f}_{D_s} $$ in the continuum limit of N f = 2 + 1 domain wall lattice QCD

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We present results for the decay constants of the D and D s mesons computed in lattice QCD with N f = 2 + 1 dynamical flavours. The simulations are based on RBC/UKQCD’s domain wall ensembles with both physical and unphysical light-quark masses and ...

Probing Charged Higgs Boson Couplings at the FCC-hh Collider

open access: yes, 2015
Many of the new physics models predicts a light Higgs boson similar to the Higgs boson of the Standard Model (SM) and also extra scalar bosons. Beyond the search channels for a SM Higgs boson, the future collider experiments will explore additional ...

NMSPEC: A Fortran code for the sparticle and Higgs masses in the NMSSM with GUT scale boundary conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
NMSPEC is a Fortran code that computes the sparticle and Higgs masses, as well as Higgs decay widths and couplings in the NMSSM, with soft SUSY breaking terms specified at MGUT.

Minimal supersymmetric model of Higgs-Higgs condensation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1995
The discussion of the following two topics are included, (1). How large can the lightest-Higgs mass be in the supersymmetric standard models? (2). The triviality bound of the Higgs mass, with the conclusion that the SUSY model of Higgs-Higgs condensation will be the most promising candidate if the lightest-Higgs mass of the MSSM is excluded by the ...
