This review provides a comprehensive summary of ultrafast infrared plasmonics covering the fundamental principles, material systems, manipulation methods, detection techniques, and promising applications. Furthermore, it highlights the future potential of ultrafast infrared plasmonics as a novel platform for exploring ultrafast electronic correlation ...

ABSTRACT The paper arises from the experience of Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry which has seen, over the years, more and more contributions related to Machine Learning rather than to what was intended as a stochastic model. The very notion of a stochastic model (e.g., a Gaussian process or a Dynamic Linear Model) can be subject to ...

Determining the Structure of Higgs Couplings at the LHC [PDF]
Higgs boson production via weak boson fusion at the CERN Large Hadron Collider has the capability to determine the dominant CP nature of a Higgs boson, via the tensor structure of its coupling to weak bosons.

Fermiophobic Higgs bosons at LEP [PDF]
This work describes the results of the searches for a Higgs boson decaying into gauge bosons carried out by the four LEP collaborations: ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL. A lower bound of 109.7 GeV is set at 95% confidence level on the mass of a fermiophobic Higgs boson decaying into photons.

Exploring Dark Photon Production and Kinetic Mixing Constraints in Heavy‐Ion Collisions
ABSTRACT Vector U‐bosons, often referred to as “dark photons,” are potential candidates for mediating dark matter interactions. In this study, we outline a procedure to derive theoretical constraints on the upper bound of the kinetic mixing parameter ϵ2MU$$ {\upvarepsilon}^2\left({M}_U\right) $$ using dilepton data from heavy‐ion from SIS to RHIC ...

CP-odd Higgs boson production in eγ collisions
We investigate the CP-odd Higgs boson production via two-photon processes in eγ collisions. The CP-odd Higgs boson, which we denote as A0, is expected to appear in the Two-Higgs Doublet Models (2HDM) as a minimal extension of Higgs sector for which the ...

Limits on a Composite Higgs Boson [PDF]
Precision electroweak data are generally believed to constrain the Higgs boson mass to lie below approximately 190 GeV at 95% confidence level. The standard Higgs model is, however, trivial and can only be an effective field theory valid below some high energy scale characteristic of the underlying non-trivial physics.

Fast and interpretable support vector classification based on the truncated ANOVA decomposition
Abstract Support vector machines (SVMs) are an important tool for performing classification on scattered data, where one usually has to deal with many data points in high‐dimensional spaces. We propose solving SVMs in primal form using feature maps based on trigonometric functions or wavelets.

A 96 GeV Higgs boson in the N2HDM
We discuss a $$\sim 3\,\sigma $$ ∼3σ signal (local) in the light Higgs-boson search in the diphoton decay mode at $$\sim 96 \,\, \mathrm {GeV}$$ ∼96GeV as reported by CMS, together with a $$\sim 2\,\sigma $$ ∼2σ excess (local) in the $$b {{\bar{b}}}$$ bb¯
