Higgs diffractive production

Nuclear Physics A, 2007
We propose to search for a Higgs particle produced diffractively in the fragmentation region of one of the colliding protons. This mechanism will provide a clear experimental signal for Higgs production due to the small background in this kinematic region.

Higgs production through sterile neutrinos

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2016
In scenarios with sterile (right-handed) neutrinos with an approximate “lepton-number-like” symmetry, the heavy neutrinos (the mass eigenstates) can have masses around the electroweak scale and couple to the Higgs boson with, in principle, unsuppressed Yukawa couplings, while the smallness of the light neutrinos’ masses is guaranteed by the ...

Hadronic production of charged Higgs bosons

Physical Review D, 1988
The hadronic production of charged-Higgs-boson pairs is calculated. It is shown that the one-loop gluon-fusion mechanism can dominate over the tree-level quark-antiquark annihilation process in a three-generation two-Higgs-doublet model.

Higgs-particle production through vacuum excitations

Physical Review D, 1991
We consider here a nonperturbative mechanism for the production of Higgs particles through vacuum excitations. It appears that it could already have been seen in ``chiron'' events, ``halo'' events, and some other signals in high-energy cosmic-ray collisions.
