Controlling of the F Region Plasma Structures by the E Region Conductance in the Auroral Ionosphere
Abstract At high latitudes, the E and F regions of the ionosphere are strongly coupled through nearly vertical magnetic field lines. To simultaneously and directly relate the E and F regions' plasma structures, we ran a coordinated conjunction campaign between Swarm satellites and Incoherent Scatter Radar in Tromsø, Norway, during a moderate ...

Abstract To explore mechanisms of rupture segmentation, we invert coseismic GNSS offsets for the 2025 Mw 7.6 Aomori, Japan earthquake. Our preferred curved‐fault solution images a compact thrust rupture at 25–50 km depth with peak slip ∼2.5 m near 35 km.

Abstract The NASA/CNES Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) swath‐mapping radar altimetry satellite mission, launched in December 2022, provides repeat‐track coverage to about ±78.2° latitude every 21 days, sampling many of Antarctica's most dynamic ice shelves that play key roles in constraining mass loss from the grounded ice sheet ...

Abstract We analyze and model ground deformation at Masaya volcano, Nicaragua, using Sentinel‐1 Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) time series spanning January 2018–February 2024. Time series show the Masaya Central Reservoir (MCR) experienced ∼3 cm of line of sight (LOS) displacement away from the satellite north of the Santiago crater ...
