19th Intl Congress on High-Speed Photography and Photonics, 1991
A High-Speed CCD-TV-camera is demonstrated with a frame rate up to 30 kHz. The horizontal resolution is 600 pixels. The vertical resolution depens on the number of pictures in a high-speed sequence. It varies from 288 lines for two pictures up to 20 for 28 pictures in a sequence.

The Journal of Photographic Science, 1966
AbstractBy exploiting the possibilities of image converter tubes, some new high speed cameras have been developed having advanced performance. These include a simple single frame camera with on exposure time of 20 nS, a single-frame camera of high resolution and wide spectral range, a streak camera capable of writing speeds up to 4000mm/μS., and a ...

Simple High Speed Framing Cameras
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1966J. Wadsworth and F. E. Stokes recently described a simple high speed camera. They formed an array of images using crossed rods of glass to form an array of small camera lenses, and each lens of this array formed a separate frame. They exposed successive frames by rotating a Nipkow disk in front of the crossed glass rods.

Visualization of high speed phenomena using high-speed infrared camera
SPIE Proceedings, 2017The standard infrared camera has taken certain integration time with the photography per once, it was unsuitable for high-speed photography. By the infrared camera which can buffer photography data efficiently continually, high-speed photography of 2,000fps is enabled in 320X240 pixels and 11,000fps in128X100 pixels by windowing mode.

The high-speed camera ULTRACAM
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2006ULTRACAM is a high‐speed, tri‐band CCD camera designed for observations of time variable celestial objects. Commissioned on the 4.2m WHT in La Palma, it has now been used for observations of many types of phenomena and objects including stellar occultations, accreting black‐holes, neutron stars and white dwarfs, pulsars, eclipsing binaries and ...

Publisher Summary This chapter highlights the development of a range of highly specialized cameras by using image tube. The possibility of using an image tube as the active component of a camera has appealed to many workers, and a large number of camera designs, some simple, some complex, have been developed in recent years.

Combined Laser High-Speed Camera
SPIE Proceedings, 1989This paper gives: (1) a detailed description of the combined characteristics and the directions for use of the combined laser high-speed camera; and (2) a brief description of the main characteristics of its constituent parts. In the last part of this paper, a special description is given of : (1) the photographic method of finding the rule of flying ...

High-Speed Framing Disk Camera
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1958A high-speed framing camera designed to investigate problems requiring a time coverage of from 6 to 20 milliseconds has been developed. Sixty pictures at framing rates up to 15 000 frames a second are possible. Unique to this system are the large image size (⅝×1¼ inches or ⅜×1¼ inches, depending on the framing rate required), and the very short ...
