Suppression of abnormal chattering of a high-speed EMU carbody

Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, 2021
A carbody chattering phenomenon accompanied by bogie hunting movement was investigated. The online test results showed that the vehicle at a large tread conicity state exhibited insufficient stability when running at higher speeds, causing the hunting frequency of the bogie to continuously increase and approach the diamond-shaped deformation modal ...

High speed EMU modeling based on the measured data

2009 International Conference on Sustainable Power Generation and Supply, 2009
Based on a large amount of actual measured data on railway line, this paper presents a modeling method using curve-fitting and probabilistic density functions for a high speed EMU. This method better simulates the real world and can be used to build a rapid data exchange between the trains and the traction power system simulation.

Prediction and analysis of crosstalk in high speed EMUs

2013 5th IEEE International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for Wireless Communications, 2013
Due to intensive cable arrangements in high speed emus and its vehicle equipment internal, measurement of crosstalk in the victim cable is not easy in wiring dense area. Consequently, a simple method, used to predict and analyze the crosstalk in wiring dense area is needful, to optimize cable arrangements for reducing conducted electromagnetic ...
