ADAPTIVE COMPRESSING OF THE HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE OF DIGITAL RADAR SATELLITE IMAGES
Transformation of a digital radar image with a wide dynamic range of luminance values (up to 216 tones) for visualization on a standard monitor is considered. The monitor has 28 gray value range or any of three basic colors in the RGB system.

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Image intensifier characterization
An image intensifier forms an integral part of a full-field image range finder under development at the University of Waikato. Operating as a high speed shutter with repetition rates up to 100 MHz, a method is described to characterise the response, both

Protein aggregates threaten proteostasis and cell health. In human cells, Hsp70–J‐domain protein‐based disaggregases remove aggregates, but how they assemble remains unclear. Our biochemical findings show that DNAJA2‐ and DNAJB1‐containing disaggregase scaffolds enhance luciferase aggregate targeting, and that Hsp70 recruitment by both J‐domain ...

Adaptive enhancement of sea surface targets in infrared high dynamic range image
A high dynamic range infrared image of the sea surface scene includes the effects due to the sea clutter, mirror reflections from the wave facets, which decrease the visibility of the ship targets and their details.

Flexible and Effective High Dynamic Range Image Coding
This paper presents an algorithm based on a two-layer coding scheme, where the original information is represented by means of a Low Dynamic Range (LDR) image, obtained by applying a tone mapping operator to the original HDR (High Dynamic Range), plus an

Consolidated Dataset and Metrics for High-Dynamic-Range Image Quality [PDF]
Increasing popularity of high-dynamic-range image and video content brings the need for metrics that could predict the severity of image impairments as seen on displays of different brightness levels and dynamic range.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
