Soft scattering evaporation of dark matter subhalos by inner galactic gases

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
The large gap between a galactic dark matter subhalo’s velocity and its own gravitational binding velocity creates the situation that small subhalos can be evaporated before dark matter thermalize with baryons due to the low binding velocity.

PLE$\nu$M: A global and distributed monitoring system of high-energy astrophysical neutrinos [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Conference on Rebooting Computing, 2021
High-energy astrophysical neutrinos, discovered by IceCube, are now regularly observed, albeit at a low rate due to their low flux. As a result, open questions about high-energy neutrino astrophysics and particle physics remain limited by statistics at ...

Phase transitions and geothermodynamics of black holes in dRGT massive gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
In this paper, we study the thermodynamics and geothermodynamics of spherical black hole solutions in dRGT massive gravity in a new extended phase space. Inspire by the work of Kastor et al.

Supergalactic Structure of Multiplets with the Telescope Array Surface Detector [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
Evidence of supergalactic structure of multiplets has been found for ultra-high energy cosmic rays (UHECR) with energies above 1019 eV using 7 years of data from the Telescope Array (TA) surface detector.

Viscous attenuation of gravitational waves propagating through an inhomogeneous background

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
We consider the propagation of gravitational waves in the late-time Universe in the presence of matter distribution inhomogeneities, and we also consider the cosmic fluid to be viscous.

High energy neutrino astrophysics [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2005
Astroparticle physics is a field rich of perspectives in investigating the ultra-high energy region which will never be accessible to man made machines. Many efforts are underway in order to detect the first cosmic neutrinos, messengers of the unobserved universe.
