High Hydrostatic Pressure Effects on Vegetable Structure
ABSTRACT Cryo‐fracture scanning electron microscopy revealed the changes that cauliflower and spinach leaves undergo after treatment with high hydrostatic pressure. High pressure changed cell permeability and enabled movement of water and metabolites from inside to outside of the cell.

Spin Defects in Hexagonal Boron Nitride as 2D Strain Sensors
We demonstrate that boron‐vacancy (VB${\rm V}_{\rm B}$) centers in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) enable quantitative strain sensing with sub‐micrometer resolution. Using this approach under continuously tunable in‐plane stress, we precisely quantify strain‐induced shifts of the E2g${\rm E}_{2{\rm g}}$ Raman mode in multilayer hBN, establishing VB${\rm ...

From Bug to Feature: Harnessing Cross‐Sensitivity for Multiparametric Luminescence Sensing
Cross‐sensitivity in luminescence sensing is reframed from a limitation into a resource for multiparametric detection. Using ruby microspheres as a model system, cross‐sensitivity is quantitatively assessed and exploited through linear discriminant analysis, enabling simultaneous, correction‐free pressure and temperature sensing with a single ...
