A high-power-density DC/DC converter for high-power distributed power systems

PESC '03., 2004This paper presents a zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) three-level DC/DC resonant converter for high-power distributed power systems. The paper first addresses the operation of the converter at a fixed frequency, which is achieved by applying phase-shift control between the primary and the secondary sides of the transformer.

Journal of Power Sources, 1996Abstract High energy density electrochemical capacitors were built with a newly discovered electrode material (amorphous RuO 2 · x H 2 O). Energy densities as high as 96 J/g (26 Wh/kg) were obtained based on the RuO 2 · x H 2 O electrode material alone. However, the power density of the capacitor is low.
