Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Review on the Evaluation and Improvement Measures of the Carrying Capacity of Distributed Power Supply and Electric Vehicles Connected to the Grid

open access: yesEnergies
With the increasing number of distributed power sources such as photovoltaic power and wind power and electric vehicles connected to the grid, the structure and operation state of the traditional distribution network have undergone great changes ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

A Novel Segment-switching Strategy with the Current Transient Overshoot Suppression for Segmented Long-Stator Linear Motor

open access: yesCES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems
The segmented power supply scheme for long-stator linear motor facilitates reducing power capacity and achieving a high power factor. However, the segment-switching process leads to overcurrent under high-speed conditions.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A Review of Optimization Methods for Pole-Shoe Structures in Large-Scale Salient Pole Synchronous Motors

open access: yesCES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems
Optimizing the rotor pole-shoe structure of large salient pole synchronous motors is critical for improving their performance and efficiency, allowing for enhanced responsiveness to grid demands and adjustments in operating conditions.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Influence of Polytetrafluoroethylene Content, Compaction Pressure, and Annealing Treatment on the Magnetic Properties of Iron-Based Soft Magnetic Composites

open access: yesMolecules
To improve the magnetic properties of iron-based soft magnetic composites (SMCs), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with excellent heat resistance, electrical insulation, and extremely high electrical resistivity was chosen as an insulating coating material

Materials Processing by High Power and High Power Density Diode Laser.

open access: yesThe Review of Laser Engineering, 2000
Recently, high power and high power density diode lasers have been developed for their superiority of conversion efficiency as compared to conventional CO2 or Nd: YAG lasers. Materials processing using these lasers are reviewed and the 2kW class high power density diode laser is introduced in relation to its materials processing characteristics.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
