Atomistic Mechanisms Triggered by Joule Heating Effects in Metallic Cu‐Bi Nanowires for Spintronics
Bi doped metallic Cu nanowires are promising for spintronics thanks to the stabilization of a giant spin Hall effect. However, heat resulting from current injection forces Bi to leave solution, forcing segregation into monoatomic decorations which evolve into coherent crystalline aggregates.

High-Pressure Die-Casting: Contradictions and Challenges
JOM, 2015High-pressure die casting (HPDC) is particularly suitable for high production rates and it is applied in several industrial fields; actually, approximately half of the world production of light metal castings is obtained by this technology. An overview of the actual status of HPDC technology is described in the current work, where both critical aspects
