Hrlinknet: Linknet with High-Resolution Representation for High-Resolution Satellite Imagery
2021 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium IGARSS, 2021Automatic extraction of buildings from high-resolution remote sensing imagery is very useful in many applications such as city management, mapping, urban planning and geographic information updating. However, due to the general texture of the building and the complexity of the image background, high-precision building segmentation from high-resolution ...

About 30 years ago two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2DE) was developed independently by Klose and O'Farrell representing the combination of two orthogonal separation techniques. In the first dimension the proteins are separated by isoelectric focusing (IEF) according to their isoelectric point.

High Resolution Spectroscopy of Sweeteners
Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Photonics, Optics and Laser Technology, 2015The identification of sophistication in beverage and food products has an increasing role in modern society. Different techniques are currently used for qualitative assessment of food stuff and beverages. Among them high resolution spectroscopy shown to be able to identify different types of sweeteners such as fructose, glucose, maltose, sucrose and ...

High-Resolution Electrocardiography
Veterinary Clinics of North America: Small Animal Practice, 1998High-resolution electrocardiography, often referred to as signal averaged electrocardiography (SAECG), has clinical utility in human medicine for detecting ventricular late potentials (LP) as predictors of future arrhythmic events, specifically reentrant type of ventricular tachycardia (VT).

High-resolution Electrocardiography
2004The electrocardiogram (ECG) is arguably the most common noninvasive diagnostic test performed by physicians. The instrumentation for recording the ECG has followed technological trends but the addition of new information has not generally been forthcoming from these advances.

Topical Meeting on Laser Techniques for Extreme Ultraviolet Spectroscopy, 1982
High resolution spectroscopy in the vacuum ultraviolet region has, until recently, been limited to work with long focal length grating spectrographs. The best resolution with state-of-the-art instrumentation is approximately 250,000, but the photographic method provides simultaneous measurement of ≈ 3 × 104 data points with modest exposure times.

High-resolution EEG recording has become standard in many experimental studies on human brain function and has found its place in the routine presurgical workup of patients with focal epilepsy in several clinical centers. The main aim of high-resolution EEG is source localization with methods that have become increasingly robust and precise.

High resolution systems: The resolution argument
Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2016Resolution comes from the Latin word resolvo, which literally means “untie a knot.” The meaning evolved, in optics, toward the capability to distinguish two scattering points. For the MCM (Mine Counter Measure) problem, the introduction of synthetic aperture systems, and the resulting drastic increase in resolution, has been a game changer, as the ...

A high resolution muon detector
Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 1992Abstract The design and operation of precision drift chambers with multisampling as well as the concepts and methods for reaching an extraordinary degree of precision in mechanics and calibration are described. Specific instruments were developed for this purpose.
