High-Throughput Selection for Heterogeneous Catalysts

Journal of Combinatorial Chemistry, 2006
A catalyst library of 80 samples with different mass ratios of rare earth elements, cobalt (Co), cerium (Ce), and indium (In), was prepared by impregnation of a fresh HZSM-5 zeolite support. A high-throughput detection setup, based on UV absorption spectroscopy, was developed for heterogeneous catalyst selection. The catalytic properties of the library

Selecting High-Impact Strategies

2023
AbstractIn any strategy process (whether dynamic or traditional), analytical data (both formal and intuitive) informs the potential strategies management identify and the strategic choices they make. While drawing upon external and internal analytical data, developing an array of potential strategies is also a creative exercise.

Selective Delivery in High-risk Pregnancy

Southern Medical Journal, 1981
Ultrasonography, antepartum testing of the fetal heart rate, and amniotic fluid assays were used in a management protocol to select the optimal time for delivery of a group of 165 pregnancies complicated by diabetes mellitus or hypertensive disorders. Only six cases of intrauterine growth retardation were detected ante partum.

Achieving High Selectivity for Alkyne Hydrogenation at High Conversions with Compositionally Optimized PdAu Nanoparticle Catalysts in Raspberry Colloid-Templated SiO2

ACS Catalysis, 2020
Improving the selectivity for catalytic hydrogenation of alkynes is a key step in upgrading feedstocks for olefin polymerization. Herein, dilute PdxAu1-x alloy nanoparticles embedded in raspberry colloid templated silica (x=0.02, 0.04, and 0.09) are ...

High‐anthocyanin strawberries through cultivar selection

Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, 2012
AbstractBACKGROUND: Diets high in fruit and vegetables are known to have significant health benefits. This is in part due to the presence of phytochemicals, which possess potential protective health benefits. This study focuses on the ability of strawberries to be bred for higher anthocyanin content.

Component selection for high-performance pipelines

IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems, 1996
The use of a realistic component library with multiple implementations of operators results in cost-efficient designs ; slow components can then be used on noncritical paths and the more expensive components on only the critical paths. This paper presents a cost-optimized algorithm for selecting components and pipelining a data-flow graph, given such a
