Suppression of abnormal chattering of a high-speed EMU carbody

Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, 2021
A carbody chattering phenomenon accompanied by bogie hunting movement was investigated. The online test results showed that the vehicle at a large tread conicity state exhibited insufficient stability when running at higher speeds, causing the hunting frequency of the bogie to continuously increase and approach the diamond-shaped deformation modal ...

High speed EMU modeling based on the measured data

2009 International Conference on Sustainable Power Generation and Supply, 2009
Based on a large amount of actual measured data on railway line, this paper presents a modeling method using curve-fitting and probabilistic density functions for a high speed EMU. This method better simulates the real world and can be used to build a rapid data exchange between the trains and the traction power system simulation.

Prediction and analysis of crosstalk in high speed EMUs

2013 5th IEEE International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for Wireless Communications, 2013
Due to intensive cable arrangements in high speed emus and its vehicle equipment internal, measurement of crosstalk in the victim cable is not easy in wiring dense area. Consequently, a simple method, used to predict and analyze the crosstalk in wiring dense area is needful, to optimize cable arrangements for reducing conducted electromagnetic ...

Speed Simulator Design for Braking System Validation of High-Speed EMUs

2018 9th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME), 2018
It is necessary to continuously validate whether the function and performance of braking system meet the requirements of the specification during the producing, commissioning and maintaining of the high-speed EMU (Electric Multiple Units) trains. But it’s impossible to get the real speed signals, which is one of the core foundations of the validation ...

Study on Fatigue Strength for Axle of High Speed EMU

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
In the paper, Assessment and comparison analyses of fatigue strength for different axles of CRH2, CRH3 and CRH5 EMUs are conducted by applying the European standards and Japanese standards. The wheelset models of CRH2, CRH3 and CRH5 are set up by means of the finite element method.

Experimental Modal Analysis of High-Speed EMU Carbody Structure

2012
Modal is the natural characteristic of structural vibration, each mode has a specific frequencies, damping and modal shape. Modal parameters reflect the dynamic properties of the structure. The dynamic characteristics of car-body structure play an important role to the stability and comfort of the High-speed EMU (Electric Multiple Unit).

Mission reliability simulation of high-speed EMU service braking system

2009 8th International Conference on Reliability, Maintainability and Safety, 2009
Logic reliability relation of the High-speed EMU service braking system was analyzed. The reliability diagram was set up. A general approach and the major steps were proposed to do reliability analysis of the High-speed EMU braking system. And the failure distribution of key components was confirmed through reliability test. The simulation result shows
