Gigacycle fatigue in high strength steels [PDF]
This paper reviews the research results to date on gigacycle fatigue caused by internal fractures in high strength steels. Firstly, accelerated fatigue testing was realized using ultrasonic fatigue testing at 20 kHz, which completes 109 cycles in one day, unlike the 3-4 months needed for conventional fatigue testing.

Understanding the interaction between a steel microstructure and hydrogen [PDF]
The present work provides an overview of the work on the interaction between hydrogen (H) and the steel’s microstructure. Different techniques are used to evaluate the H-induced damage phenomena. The impact of H charging on multiphase high-strength

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours
