Electrochemical high-temperature gas sensors

SPIE Proceedings, 2012
Combustion produced common air pollutant, NOx associates with greenhouse effects. Its high temperature detection is essential for protection of nature. Component-integration capable high-temperature sensors enable the control of combustion products.

High Dynamic Range Organic Temperature Sensor

Advanced Materials, 2012
A thermistor-transistor integrated organic temperature sensor is reported. By inserting a thin layer of silver nanoparticles the organic thermistor shows strong temperature sensitivity and the total dynamic range of sensing is around 10 bits, which is larger than most organic temperature sensors. The measuring temperature range is from 20 to 70 °C with

High temperature Hall sensors

Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 2007
Abstract In this contribution we report on the preparation of high temperature Hall sensors (HTHS). The maximum working temperature of the sensors is not less than 573 K (300 °C). The HTHS active element is a heavily n-doped InSb layer epitaxially grown on GaAs.

High temperature SiC-sensors

2014 IEEE 20th International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME), 2014
The technological flow similarities between two devices on silicon carbide, a Schottky diode and a MOS capacitor, are presented. The devices are used as temperature and hydrogen sensors, respectively. Both devices are characterized up to high temperatures, 400°C for Schottky diode and 300°C for MOS capacitor.

High temperature multiparameter sensor

SPIE Proceedings, 2011
Spectral characteristics of fiber Bragg gratings are affected by both strain and temperature. While this makes gratings useful for sensing, care must be taken to ensure adequate discrimination between spectral shifts associated with strain and those due to changes in temperature.
