Numerical analysis of electrical fields in high voltage equipment
2004This chapter discusses the different numerical analysis method for the determination of electrical field distribution in high voltage equipment. It discusses and compares the finite-difference method and the boundary element method.

Electric Field Orientation for Gene Delivery Using High-Voltage and Low-Voltage Pulses
The Journal of Membrane Biology, 2012Electropermeabilization is a biological physical process in response to the presence of an applied electric field that is used for the transfer of hydrophilic molecules such as anticancer drugs or DNA across the plasma membranes of living cells. The molecular processes that support the transfer are poorly known.

Measurement of Charge Transfer to Aqueous Droplets in High Voltage Electric Fields
Langmuir, 2017The electric charge acquired by aqueous droplets when they contact an electrode is a crucial parameter in experimental and industrial applications where electric fields are used to manipulate droplet motion and coalescence. For unclear reasons, many investigators have found that aqueous droplets acquire significantly more positive than negative charge.

Measuring of voltages and ELF electric fields of high-voltage network in Bosnia and Herzegovina
2014 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2014In the paper the results of measurements of voltages and electric fields of extra low frequency (ELF) below 400 kV transmission lines in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) are presented. In the high-voltage network in B&H there were registered a significant number of power frequency overvoltages in the regime of small loads after its reconnection in common ...
