Higher harmonic inverse free-electron laser interaction
We expand the theory of the inverse free electron laser (IFEL) interaction to include the possibility of energy exchange that takes place when relativistic particles traversing an undulator interact with an electromagnetic wave of a frequency that is a harmonic of the fundamental wiggler resonant frequency.

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Nonlinear dynamical response of interacting bosons to synthetic electric field
We theoretically study the nonlinear response of interacting neutral bosonic gas in a synthetically driven one-dimensional optical lattice. In particular, we examine the bosonic analog of electronic higher harmonic generation in a strong time-dependent ...

A miniaturized mechano‐acoustic sensor is developed using an electrospun PVDF nanomesh as the diaphragm in a capacitive sensor structure. Unlike conventional nanomesh‐based sensors, it achieves high linear sensitivity, a broad and flat frequency response, and a compact form factor.

Development of Inductive Current Transformer 400/5/1 of Class 0.2S for Frequency Range 50 Hz–5 kHz
This paper is devoted to the development of a window-type inductive current transformer (iCT) with a rated primary current equal to 400 A and two secondary windings with rated currents of 5 A and 1 A. Its novelty concerns the presentation of this process

Second and higher harmonics generation with memristive systems
We show that memristive systems can be used very efficiently to generate passively both double and higher frequency harmonics. A technique for maximizing the power conversion efficiency into any given harmonic is developed and applied to a single ...

A local defect resonance for linear and nonlinear ultrasonic thermography [PDF]
An efficient wave-defect interaction is the key to a high thermal response of flaws in ultrasonic thermography. To selectively enhance defect vibrations a concept of local defect resonance is developed and applied to ultrasonic activation of defects ...

Finding, and Not Finding, “Higher Harmonic Flows” [PDF]
Certain analysis methods have emerged recently that claim to reveal "higher harmonic flows" in more-central collisions at the RHIC and LHC. But pQCD calculations describe the same structures quantitatively.
