Signal Identification Using a New High Efficient Technique
Automatic signal type identification (ASTI) is an important topic for both the civilian and military domains. Most of the proposed identifiers can only recognize a few types of digital signal and usually need high levels of SNRs.

A New Approach Based on Cumulants for Estimating Financial Regression Models with Errors in the Variables: the Fama and French Model Revisited [PDF]
This paper proposes to revisit both the CAPM and the three-factor model of Fama and French (1993) in presence of errors in the variables. To reduce the bias induced by measurement and specification errors, we transpose to the cost of equity an estimator ...

Limiting Behavior of Functionals of Higher-Order Sample Cumulant Spectra
The author considers higher-order spectral densities \(f_ k(\lambda_ 1,...,\lambda_{k-1})\) of the stationary random process X(t) under certain restrictions on the k th order cumulants introduced by D. Brillinger. He establishes asymptotic distributions, almost-sure convergence, probability-one bounds for the estimators of higher-order spectral ...

High-order cumulant-based weak signal detection method for Drones based on channel state variations.
Aiming at the challenge of detecting low-altitude, slow-moving, and small unmanned aerial vehicles in complex urban environments, this study proposes a passive detection method based on higher-order statistical features of channel impulse responses.

Flow analysis from cumulants: a practical guide
We have recently proposed a new method of flow analysis, based on a cumulant expansion of multiparticle azimuthal correlations. Here, we describe the practical implementation of the method.

In this paper, our focus is to explore the generation of a two-mode “squeezed cross-Kerr state (SCKS)” and its non-classical properties. We have thoroughly studied SCKS’s many non-classical characteristics, which have revealed its unique non-classical ...

International Risk Sharing and Wealth Allocation with Higher Order Cumulants
We study how risk sharing affects the macroeconomic allocation, asset prices and welfare. Employing perturbation and global methods, we characterize a global (multi-country) equilibrium in terms of asymmetries in higher-order moments of non-Gaussian shocks and country size.
