Highly dispersive optical solitons with cubic-quintic-septic law by F-expansion
Optik, 2019Abstract This paper successfully applied F-expansion algorithm to obtain highly dispersive optical solitons with cubic-quintic-septic nonlinearity. Bright, dark and singular solitons and their combinations thereof are listed. Their respective existence criteria are also indicated.

Highly dispersive optical solitons in absence of self-phase modulation by exp-function
Optik, 2019Abstract This paper studies highly dispersive optical solitons when self-phase modulation term is completely absent. The delicate balance for existence and sustaining of solitons is provided by self-steepening effect and nonlinear dispersions. The exp-function approach yields singular and bright-singular combo solitons.

Highly dispersive optical soliton perturbation with Kerr law by semi-inverse variational principle
Optik, 2019Abstract In this paper, the art of semi-inverse variational principle is employed to retrieve highly dispersive bright optical solitons to the governing model, with perturbation terms, having Kerr nonlinearity. The existence criteria for these solitons are also chalked out.

Optical solitons in highly dispersive media with a dual-power nonlinearity law
Journal of Optics A: Pure and Applied Optics, 2003We find bright and dark solitary wave solutions for a nonlinear Schrodinger equation in the presence of fourth-order dispersion for an optical medium modelled by a dual-power nonlinearity law. Particular cases are discussed.
