Evaluación de la zona de influencia de la troncal de transporte público San José-Sabanilla-La Campiña

open access: yesInfraestructura Vial, 2020
La falta de ordenamiento territorial en la Gran Área Metropolitana (GAM) de Costa Rica ha provocado que el crecimiento urbano se haya dado de forma dispersa y desordenada (Rodríguez, 2017).

Analysis and generalization of existing experience regarding application and influence of reinforcing microfibers on properties of asphalt concretes

open access: yesДороги і мости
Introduction. Excessive axle loads and environmental influences cause permanent deformation, cracking, residual deformations in the form of rutting, fatigue and shortening the service life of highways.

Vision language models for bridge inspections: A review of applications in image‐based damage documentation

open access: yesStructural Concrete, EarlyView.
Abstract Automating bridge inspections requires more than detecting individual damage instances. It demands systems capable of describing, contextualizing, and interpreting damage in an inspection‐relevant manner. Conventional computer vision approaches, such as object detection and segmentation, primarily address visual recognition tasks and are ...

Deflection‐based assessment of residual prestress in simply‐supported bridges accounting for creep variability

open access: yesStructural Concrete, EarlyView.
Abstract Several test methods have been proposed in the literature for measuring the level of residual prestress, most of them involving either semi‐ or fully destructive techniques for local measurements which could be highly sensitive to boundary conditions and execution details.

TriCrackNet: Trilateral Segmentation Network for Real‐Time Crack Segmentation

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT To achieve high‐precision real‐time crack segmentation, we propose TriCrackNet, an efficient network based on a tri‐branch collaborative architecture incorporating boundary constraints, semantic parsing, and spatial refinement. In the semantic branch, efficient atrous spatial pyramid pooling (EASPP) is integrated.

Mezclas asfálticas modificadas con un elastómero (caucho) y un plastómero (tiras de bolsas de leche con asfalto 80-100)

open access: yesInfraestructura Vial, 2012
La adición de productos industrializados como el caucho y el plástico podrían hacer parte constitutiva de la estructura de un pavimento al dar a las mezclas asfálticas un mejor comportamiento mecánico y por ende una mayor duración de vida.

Fine‐scale spatial variation in eastern grey squirrel melanism across a complex urban landscape

open access: yesJournal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.
By sampling 197 parks, the study demonstrates how natural geography creates divergence within cities. The findings reveal that the St. Lawrence River and its tributaries act as barriers, disrupting urban melanism clines in grey squirrels. Ultimately, the research indicates that natural features still dictate evolutionary rules in anthropogenic ...
