Blasting effects of cross‐fault deep‐buried excavation on adjacent existing tunnel stability
Based on the theoretical analysis of cylindrical wave propagation in a deep rock mass in the fault with a filling layer, the calculation method of peak particle velocity caused by wave propagation in the existing tunnel is established. The viscoelastic characteristics of a rock mass are examined in the analysis.

Aerodynamic performance and wind-induced response of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) cables
To study the aerodynamic performance and wind-induced response of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) cables, CFRP cable was designed by replacing a steel cable in a tied arch bridge based on stiffness, strength and area equivalent criteria ...

Upon conceptualization of structural behavior, foundations in terms of their form are divided into linear (1D), planar (2D), and volumetric (3D). Regarding the load transfer mechanisms, linear foundation systems are considered vector‐acting, planar foundations are divided into section and surface‐acting, and volumetric ones are recognized as block ...

The spatial ecology of stalk‐and‐ambush predators like the Eurasian lynx Lynx lynx depends on prey availability and environmental features, yet the relative roles of these factors remain unclear at large spatial scales. In this study, we analysed lynx habitat use across central and southern Finland using snow‐track data from the Wildlife Triangle ...

POWER: Performance Optimization With Evaluated Results for HEV Battery Selection via MCDM‐TOPSIS
ABSTRACT The increasing transportation demands and environmental concerns in India necessitate the selection of optimal battery technologies for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). As the fifth‐largest car market globally, India faces rising vehicle demand, while the transportation sector remains a major contributor to air pollution.

Integrating the Gestalt Model of Self With Psychedelic‐Assisted Psychotherapy
ABSTRACT This theoretical integration paper employs a conceptual analysis methodology to synthesize the Gestalt model of self‐as‐process with Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP). Unlike traditional psychedelic therapy models that defer therapeutic engagement to postsession integration, PSIP emphasizes an active, directive therapeutic

Moose indifferent to canopy loss from forest disturbance by bark beetles
Moose showed strikingly similar patterns of habitat selection before and after widespread forest disturbance following an infestation of bark beetles. Our findings indicate that beetle‐kill does not appreciably alter habitat quality for moose and highlight the importance of riparian areas in sustaining moose as they contend with changing forests ...
