Vibration Signal Analysis Based on Hilbert-Huang Transform

2008 Fourth International Conference on Natural Computation, 2008
The time-frequency analysis by Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) plays on a significant role in the analysis of singularities, which hide in the signal, and is an effective method for non-stationary signal. Based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD), the Hilbert-Huang method can obtain a true instantaneous frequency representation of a signal.

Assessing in vitro cytotoxicity of cell micromotion by Hilbert-Huang Transform

2014 36th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2014
Electric cell-substrate impedance sensing (ECIS) is a powerful instrument for quantifying cell behavior in tissue culture. As cells attach and spread on the sensing electrode, they restrict the current flow and hence cause the increase of electrical impedance.

Speech enhancement based on Hilbert-Huang transform

2005 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2005
The newly developed Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) is introduced briefly in this paper. The HHT method is specially developed for analyzing nonlinear and non-stationary data. The method consists of two parts: (1) the empirical mode decomposition (EMD), and (2) the Hilbert spectral analysis.
