(Re)Construction of Quantum Space-Time: Transcribing Hilbert into Configuration Space

open access: yesEntropy
Space-time in quantum mechanics is about bridging Hilbert and configuration space. Thereby, an entirely new perspective is obtained by replacing the Newtonian space-time theater with the image of a presumably high-dimensional Hilbert space, through which

Frames of subspaces in Hilbert spaces with W-metrics

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2015
In this paper we start considering a sesquilinear form 〈W·,·〉 defined over a Hilbert space (ℌ,〈·,·〉) where W is bounded (W* = W ∈ Ɓ(ℌ)) and ker W = {0}. We study the dynamic of frame of subspaces over the completion of (ℌ, 〈W·,·〉) which is denoted by ℌW ...

Sequential block bootstrap in a Hilbert space with application to change point analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A new test for structural changes in functional data is investigated. It is based on Hilbert space theory and critical values are deduced from bootstrap iterations. Thus a new functional central limit theorem for the block bootstrap in a Hilbert space is

Flight of the Future: An Experimental Analysis of Event‐Based Vision for Online Perception Onboard Flapping‐Wing Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A thorough analysis of event‐based vision for flapping‐wing robots is presented, with emphasis on hardware integration, suitability under challenging flight conditions, and real‐time performance. Theoretical and experimental studies demonstrate how these sensors enable robust and efficient onboard perception for ornithopters, thereby advancing autonomy

Frames in super Hilbert modules [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2018
In this paper, we define super Hilbert module and investigate frames in this space. Super Hilbert modules are  generalization of super Hilbert spaces in Hilbert C*-module setting.

Strong Convergence Theorems for Maximal Monotone Operators with Nonspreading Mappings in a Hilbert Space

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
We prove the strong convergence theorems for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonspreading mapping T and the solution sets of zero of a maximal monotone mapping and an α-inverse strongly monotone mapping in a Hilbert space. Manaka

Temporal–Spatial Replication of the Pulse Haptic Sensation Empowered by Multifunctional Piezoelectret

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Dynamic pressure sensing, static pressure sensing, and haptic vibration are implemented on multifunctional piezoelectret devices with the universal structural design, further combined with the customized pressure device to comprehensively simulate and expand the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) three‐finger palpation.

Quantum Mechanics and Its Evolving Formulations

open access: yesEntropy, 2021
In this paper, we discuss the time evolution of the quantum mechanics formalism. Starting from the heroic beginnings of Heisenberg and Schrödinger, we cover successively the rigorous Hilbert space formulation of von Neumann, the practical bra-ket ...

Enhanced Embolic Signal Analysis through Ensemble Deep Learning Techniques Utilizing Transfer Learning and Layer Freezing Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A 10‐convolutional neural network ensemble using transfer learning and layer freezing analyzes 400 Doppler‐ultrasound spectrograms to distinguish speckle, artifact, and ESs. Soft and hard voting drive performance to 96.7% accuracy and 96.5% F1, highlighting a practical route for early embolus detection and stroke‐risk mitigation.

Least Square Regularized Regression for Multitask Learning

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The study of multitask learning algorithms is one of very important issues. This paper proposes a least-square regularized regression algorithm for multi-task learning with hypothesis space being the union of a sequence of Hilbert spaces.
