Factorization and Entanglement in Quantum Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We discuss the question of entanglement versus separability of pure quantum states in direct product Hilbert spaces and the relevance of this issue to physics.

Network Desynchronization with Sine Waves: from Synchrony to Asynchrony by Periodic Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exogenous alternating current fields are explored and interact with cerebral cortex slow waves in vitro and in silico. Varying frequency and amplitude of sine waves result in distinct network dynamics, from phase‐locking and entrainment to desynchronization. These responses occupy specific regions within the parameter space.

Notes on the factorisation of the Hilbert space for two-sided black holes in higher dimensions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In this paper, we investigate the Hilbert space factorisation problem of two-sided black holes in high dimensions. We demonstrate that the Hilbert space of two-sided black holes can be factorized into the tensor product of two one-sided bulk Hilbert ...

Aproximate Cycles of the Second Kind in Hilbert space for a Generalized Barbashin-Ezeilo Problem

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2012
In this work we show that the Volterra integral operator defined on the space of absolutely stable functions induces an asymptotically pseudocontractive operator.

Hilbert space structure in quantum gravity: an algebraic perspective [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A bstractIf quantum gravity respects the principles of quantum mechanics, suitably generalized, it may be that a more viable approach to the theory is through identifying the relevant quantum structures rather than by quantizing classical spacetime. This

Label‐Free 3D Photoacoustic Imaging of Tumor Organoids for Volumetric Drug Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A label‐free organoid photoacoustic imaging (LFOPI) system is developed for precise volumetric drug screening evaluation. As a proof of concept, LFOPI's performance in chemotherapy and immunotherapy drug screening assays are further evaluated. The LFOPI offers unique non‐invasive, label‐free capabilities for tumor organoids, and contributes to the ...

Mn3SnN‐Based Antiferromagnetic Tunnel Junction with Giant Tunneling Magnetoresistance and Multi‐States: Design and Theoretical Validation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A non‐collinear Mn3SnN/SrTiO3/Mn3SnN (001) AFMTJ is proposed with a theoretical TMR exceeding 1500%, enabled by optimal momentum (k)‐space matching between Mn3SnN's spin‐polarized Fermi surface (pk||${p}_{{\bm{k}}_{\mathbf{|}\mathbf{|}}}$) and the low‐decay‐rate (κk||${\kappa}_{{\bm{k}}_{\mathbf{|}\mathbf{|}}}$) of the SrTiO3 barrier.

Active Learning in Physics: From 101, to Progress, and Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView., 2023
In this review, the concept of active learning is introduced to the physicists at the level of beginner without requirement on background in machine learning. It includes most of the latest applications of active learning in branches of physics, covering but not being limited to quantum information, high energy physics, and condensed matter physics. It

Weighted Iterated Radial Composition Operators between Some Spaces of Holomorphic Functions on the Unit Ball

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2010
The boundedness and compactness of weighted iterated radial composition operators from the mixed-norm space to the weighted-type space and the little weighted-type space on the unit ball are characterized here.

Somewhere Dense Orbit that is not Dense on a Complex Hilbert Space

open access: yesConcrete Operators, 2019
In this paper, we present the existence of n-tuple of operators on complex Hilbert space that has a somewhere dense orbit and is not dense. We give the solution to the question stated in [11]: “Is there n-tuple of operators on a complex Hilbert space ...
