Some Remarks on Smooth Mappings of Hilbert and Banach Spaces and Their Local Convexity Property
We analyze smooth nonlinear mappings for Hilbert and Banach spaces that carry small balls to convex sets, provided that the radii of the balls are small enough.

Nonpivot and Implicit Projected Dynamical Systems on Hilbert Spaces
This paper presents a generalization of the concept and uses of projected dynamical systems to the case of nonpivot Hilbert spaces. These are Hilbert spaces in which the topological dual space is not identified with the base space.

Analysis of Subgradient Extragradient Iterative Schemes for Variational Inequalities
In this paper, we investigate the monotone variational inequality in Hilbert spaces. Based on Censor’s subgradient extragradient method, we propose two modified subgradient extragradient algorithms with self-adaptive and inertial techniques for finding ...

A sufficient condition for the boundedness of operator-weighted martingale transforms and Hilbert transform [PDF]
Let W be an operator weight taking values almost everywhere in the bounded positive invertible linear operators on a separable Hilbert space H. We show that if W and its inverse W−1 both satisfy a matrix reverse Holder property introduced in [2], then ...

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

The concept of g-basis in Hilbert spaces is introduced, which generalizes Schauder basis in Hilbert spaces. Some results about g-bases are proved. In particular, we characterize the g-bases and g-orthonormal bases. And the dual g-bases are also discussed.

Reverse Inequalities for the Numerical Radius of Linear Operators in Hilbert Spaces
Some elementary inequalities providing upper bounds for the difference of the norm and the numerical radius of a bounded linear operator on Hilbert spaces under appropriate conditions are ...

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics
