Quantum walks with an anisotropic coin I: spectral theory [PDF]
We perform the spectral analysis of the evolution operator U of quantum walks with an anisotropic coin, which include one-defect models, two-phase quantum walks, and topological phase quantum walks as special cases.

Label‐Free 3D Photoacoustic Imaging of Tumor Organoids for Volumetric Drug Screening
A label‐free organoid photoacoustic imaging (LFOPI) system is developed for precise volumetric drug screening evaluation. As a proof of concept, LFOPI's performance in chemotherapy and immunotherapy drug screening assays are further evaluated. The LFOPI offers unique non‐invasive, label‐free capabilities for tumor organoids, and contributes to the ...

Spectral Representations of One-Homogeneous Functionals
This paper discusses a generalization of spectral representations related to convex one-homogeneous regularization functionals, e.g. total variation or $\ell^1$-norms. Those functionals serve as a substitute for a Hilbert space structure (and the related

2-D Prony-Huang Transform: A New Tool for 2-D Spectral Analysis [PDF]
This work proposes an extension of the 1-D Hilbert Huang transform for the analysis of images. The proposed method consists in (i) adaptively decomposing an image into oscillating parts called intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) using a mode decomposition ...

A non‐collinear Mn3SnN/SrTiO3/Mn3SnN (001) AFMTJ is proposed with a theoretical TMR exceeding 1500%, enabled by optimal momentum (k)‐space matching between Mn3SnN's spin‐polarized Fermi surface (pk||${p}_{{\bm{k}}_{\mathbf{|}\mathbf{|}}}$) and the low‐decay‐rate (κk||${\kappa}_{{\bm{k}}_{\mathbf{|}\mathbf{|}}}$) of the SrTiO3 barrier.

Comparison of Non-linear Signals Analysis Methods
In modern engineering, linear is relative, while non-linear and non-stationary is absolute. There are many methods in non-linear signals processing. How to select a most suitable analysis method quickly for the nonlinear signal is particularly important,

Iterative actions of normal operators [PDF]
Let $A$ be a normal operator in a Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$, and let $\mathcal{G} \subset \mathcal{H}$ be a countable set of vectors. We investigate the relations between $A$, $\mathcal{G}$ , and $L$ that makes the system of iterations $\{A^ng: g\in ...

A quantum kernel‐aligned regressor (QKAR) is developed for modeling Ohmic contact formation in GaN HEMT fabrication. Leveraging experimental data and a Pauli‐Z feature map enhanced with a quantum kernel alignment (QKA) layer, the model achieves superior predictive performance over classical methods.

Fault Identification in Membrane Structures Using the Hilbert Transforms
Fault diagnostics present a crucial technical issue in the areas of both the condition monitoring of machines and the monitoring of structural health. The identification of faults at an early stage in their development has an immense effect on the safety
