Some properties of a modified Hilbert transform

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
Recently, Steinbach et al. introduced a novel operator $\mathcal{H}_T: L^2(0,T) \rightarrow L^2(0,T)$, known as the modified Hilbert transform. This operator has shown its significance in space-time formulations related to the heat and wave equations. In

Certain isometries related to the bilateral laplace transform

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2006
We study certain isometries between Hilbert spaces, which are generated by the bilateral Laplace transform In particular, we construct an analog of the Bargmann‐Fock type reproducing kernel Hilbert space related to this transformation. It is shown

Quantum Hilbert Transform

open access: yesCoRR
The Hilbert transform has been one of the foundational transforms in signal processing, finding it's way into multiple disciplines from cryptography to biomedical sciences. However, there does not exist any quantum analogue for the Hilbert transform.

The Ergodic Hilbert Transform for Admissible Processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
It is shown that the ergodic Hilbert transform exists for a class of bounded symmetric admissible processes relative to invertible measure preserving transformations.

Longitudinal Residential Eating Disorder Treatment Outcomes for Binge‐Eating Disorder When Using the Unified Treatment Model

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Despite its prevalence, research on binge‐eating disorder (BED) outcomes for residential treatment remains limited. To address this research scarcity, we evaluated changes in ED behaviors and comorbid symptoms, including depression and anxiety, for patients with BED that received residential eating disorder (ED) care from a ...

BOUNDEDNESS OF THE DISCRETE HILBERT TRANSFORM ON DISCRETE WEIGHTED MORREY SPACES

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal
The Hilbert transform is a multiplier operator widely used in the theory of Fourier transforms. It was the motivation for the development of modern harmonic analysis.

Presurgical magnetoencephalography‐derived network control metrics distinguish successful hippocampal resection vs sparing in temporal lobe epilepsy

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Surgical decision‐making in temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) faces a critical challenge in determining whether the hippocampus can be safely spared during anterior temporal resection, particularly when surgery involves the language‐dominant hemisphere.

AI‐based localization of the epileptogenic zone using intracranial EEG

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming our lives. Machine learning (ML) enables computers to learn from data and make decisions without explicit instructions. Deep learning (DL), a subset of ML, uses multiple layers of neural networks to recognize complex patterns in large datasets through end‐to‐end learning.

Variance‐Empirical Mode Decomposition Method for Fault Detection in MMC‐HVDC Transmission Lines

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
A variance‐embedded empirical mode decomposition (VEMD) method is proposed for fast and accurate fault detection in MMC‐HVDC transmission lines. By combining variance analysis with EMD, the method reliably detects various faults without communication links and remains robust to noise and non‐fault transients.
