Anomalous relaxation in dielectrics with Hilfer fractional derivative

open access: yes, 2020
We introduce a new relaxation function depending on an arbitrary parameter as solution of a kinetic equation in the same way as the relaxation function introduced empirically by Debye, Cole-Cole, Davidson-Cole and Havriliak-Negami, anomalous relaxation in dielectrics, which are recovered as particular cases.

A New q‐Integral Operator Containing Generalized q‐Mittag‐Leffler Function

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this study, we employ the mathematical framework of q‐calculus to introduce a novel integral operator that incorporates the generalized q‐Mittag‐Leffler function. Following this introduction, we delve into an in‐depth analysis of several significant properties and potential applications of this integral operator. Additionally, we explore a number of

Trajectory Controllability of Fractional Neutral Stochastic Dynamical Systems of Order α ∈ (1, 2] With Deviating Argument

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this manuscript, we establish existence, uniqueness, and trajectory controllability for higher order noninstantaneous impulsive fractional neutral stochastic differential equations. First, solvability and uniqueness results are obtained using a fixed‐point approach with appropriate assumptions on nonlinear functions. Next, we deal with the strongest

Existence and Stability of Ulam–Hyers and Generalized Ulam–Hyers for the Generalized Langevin–Sturm–Liouville Equation Involving Generalized Liouville–Caputo Type

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This paper focuses on investigating the existence, uniqueness, and stability of Ulam–Hyers (U‐H) and generalized Ulam–Hyers (G‐U‐H) solutions for the generalized Langevin–Sturm–Liouville equation, which involves generalized Liouville–Caputo derivatives and antiperiodic boundary conditions. We can divide this manuscript into six parts. The first section

A Fractional‐Order Alcoholism Model Incorporating Hypothetical Social Influence: A Theoretical and Numerical Study

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This study introduces a fractional‐order mathematical model for alcoholism dynamics using the Hilfer derivative to capture memory effects and hereditary properties within a unified framework. The model incorporates hypothetical social influence through sentiment‐based variables to represent positive and negative social interactions.

On Improved Simpson‐Type Inequalities via Convexity and Generalized Fractional Operators

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this work, we develop novel Simpson‐type inequalities for mappings with convex properties by employing operators for tempered fractional integrals. These findings expand upon and refine classical results, including those linked to Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals.

Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability for nonlinear Ψ-Hilfer stochastic fractional differential equation with uncertainty

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
We consider a nonlinear Cauchy problem involving the Ψ-Hilfer stochastic fractional derivative with uncertainty, and we give a stability result. Using fixed point theory, we are able to provide a fuzzy Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability for the considered ...

On fractional Cauchy-type problems containing Hilfer's derivative

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2016
Summary: In the paper we study fractional systems with generalized Riemann-Liouville derivatives. A theorem on the existence and uniqueness of a solution to a fractional nonlinear ordinary Cauchy problem is proved. A formula for the solution to a linear problem of such a type is presented.

On Solutions of the Nonlocal Generalized Coupled Langevin‐Type Pantograph Systems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This paper concentrates on the analysis of a category of coupled Langevin‐type pantograph differential equations involving the generalized Caputo fractional derivative with nonlocal conditions. We conduct this analysis in two cases for the second member in the nonlinear function; in other words, for the real space R and an abstract Banach space Θ.

From fractional differential equations with Hilfer derivatives

open access: yesComputational and Applied Mathematics, 2021
In this article, we proposed new discrete maps with memory (DMM). These maps are derived from fractional differential equations (FDE) with the Hilfer fractional derivatives of non-integer orders and periodic sequence of kicks. The suggested DMM are obtained from these equations without any approximation, and they are a discrete form of the exact ...
