Straipsnyje pristatomas Akmeniškių antrojo piliakalnio atradimas Šilutės rajone. 2009 m. fotografuojant sutvarkytą Akmeniškių piliakalnį, buvo identifikuotas dar vienas, iki šiol nežinotas, piliakalnis. Jis aptiktas 600 m atstumu į Pietvakarius nuo valstybės saugomo Akmeniškių piliakalnio, ant dešiniojo Šyšos upės kranto esančios kalvos.
