Analytical treatment of system of KdV equations by Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM) and Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Ecology and Software, 2014
In this article the Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM) and Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) are applied to obtain analytic approximate solution to three system of nonlinear wave equations, namely two component evolutionary system of a homogeneous KdV ...

Molecular Clocks in Translational Roadmap for Circadian‐Based Therapeutics in Lung Diseases

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 10, 31 May 2026.
High‐amplitude circadian oscillations maintain lung immune and epithelial homeostasis. Chronic inflammation dampens peripheral clock amplitude, driving chronodisruption, barrier dysfunction, and remodeling. Clock‐targeted therapies re‐entrain the lung circadian clock, restore rhythmic immune resolution, and promote functional lung repair.

Double-Pole Solution and Soliton-Antisoliton Pair Solution of MNLSE/DNLSE Based upon Hirota Method

open access: yes
Hirota method is applied to solve the modified nonlinear Schrödinger equation/the derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equation (MNLSE/DNLSE) under nonvanishing boundary conditions (NVBC) and lead to a single and double-pole soliton solution in an explicit ...

Chaotic dynamics and soliton structures of the (3+1)-dimensional Hirota model with application to secure image encryption

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
This work explores complex dynamical analysis of a new (3+1)-dimensional Hirota model, which has not yet studied in the literature. The wave transformation approach is utilized and the proposed model is reduced into system of ordinary differential ...

The Hirota direct method

open access: yes, 2020
The search for integrability of nonlinear partial diï¬erential and diï¬erenceequations includes the study on multi-soliton solutions. One of the most fa-mous method to construct multi-soliton solutions is the Hirota direct method. In this thesis, we explain this method in detail and apply it to explicit ex-amples.

Spatiotemporal Fire Patterns and Post‐fire Forest Change in Peru (2000–2021)

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, Volume 37, Issue 9, Page 4368-4382, 30 May 2026.
ABSTRACT Fire is increasingly more frequent and severe in many tropical regions, leading to significant forest loss, diminished biodiversity, and reduced Nature's contributions to people (NCPs). In this study, we analyzed the spatiotemporal patterns of fire in Peru and its regions, focusing on: (1) burned area, (2) size, and (3) number of fires, using ...

Moisture‐Flux‐Sensitive Convection Strengthens MJO Preconditioning

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 10, 28 May 2026.
Abstract Despite decades of research, the Madden‐Julian Oscillation (MJO) remains challenging for global prediction systems, partly because its representation is sensitive to convection‐environment interactions. We evaluate a new prognostic convective closure in NOAA's Unified Forecast System (UFS) that incorporates large‐scale moisture‐flux ...

Modified simple equation method to the nonlinear Hirota Satsuma KdV system

open access: yes, 2015
. In this article, we use the modified simple equation method to construct the exact traveling wave solutions for some nonlinear PDE's in mathematical physics namely the coupled Hirota -Satsuma KdV equations and the generalized coupled Hirota ...

On the New Solutions of the Conformable Time Fractional Generalized Hirota-Satsuma Coupled KdV System

open access: yesAnnals of the West University of Timisoara: Mathematics and Computer Science, 2017
In this paper, generalized Hirota Satsuma coupled KdV system is solved with tanh method and q-Homotopy analysis method. New fractional derivative definition called “conformable fractional derivative” used in the solution procedure.
