A network meta-analysis and systematic review of change in QRS duration after left bundle branch pacing, His bundle pacing, biventricular pacing, or right ventricular pacing in patients requiring permanent pacemaker

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Cardiac dyssynchrony is the proposed mechanism for pacemaker-induced cardiomyopathy, which can be prevented by biventricular pacing. Left bundle branch pacing and His bundle pacing are novel interventions that imitate the natural conduction of the heart ...

Long-term outcomes of His bundle pacing in patients with heart failure with left bundle branch block

open access: yesHeart, 2018
Objectives His bundle pacing (HBP) can potentially correct left bundle branch block (LBBB). We aimed to assess the efficacy of HBP to correct LBBB and long-term clinical outcomes with HBP in patients with heart failure (HF).

FIRST EXPERIENCE OF DIRECT CONSTANT HIS BUNDLE PACING

open access: yesМедицинский вестник Юга России, 2016
Objective: to study electrophysiological parameters and clinical results of direct constant His bundle pacing (HBP). Materials and methods: we examined 36 patients, divided into 2 equal groups (of 18 patients) according to the type of pacing.

Effects of Rhythm and Rate-Controlling Drugs in Patients With Permanent His-Bundle Pacing

open access: yesFrontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine, 2020
Introduction: Antiarrhythmic drug therapy can affect pacemaker parameters in both the atrial and ventricular myocardium. It is not known whether antiarrhythmic drugs impact His bundle pacing/sensing parameters and His to ventricle (H-V) intervals ...

His bundle pacing – a new word in technology of pacing and treatment of heart failure [PDF]

open access: yesКардіохірургія та інтервенційна кардіологія, 2020
The article presents review of the literature, clinical studies and current guidelines for the usage of His bundle pacing – a new method of treatment of bradycardia and heart blockades. Despite certain temporary limitations – lack of results of the large

Restitution characteristics of His bundle and working myocardium in isolated rabbit hearts. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2017
The Purkinje system (PS) and the His bundle have been recently implicated as an important driver of the rapid activation rate after 1-2 minutes of ventricular fibrillation (VF).

Nef line bundles over finite fields [PDF]

open access: yesInt. Math. Res. Not. 2013 (2013), (15): 3490-3508, 2011
We use Totaro's examples of non-semiample nef line bundles on smooth projective surfaces over finite fields to construct nef line bundles for which the first cohomology group cannot be killed by any generically finite covers. This is used to show a similar example of a nef and big line bundle on a smooth projective threefold over a finite field.

Vinberg pairs and Higgs bundles [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We explore the role of Vinberg pairs defined by cyclic gradings of a semisimple complex Lie algebra in the context of Higgs bundle theory.

On a classification of fat bundles over compact homogeneous spaces [PDF]

open access: yesDifferential Geometry and its Applications, 42(2016), 131-141, 2016
This article deals with fat bundles. Berard-Bergery classified all homogeneous bundles of that type. We ask a question of a possibility to generalize his description in the case of arbitrary G-structures over homogeneous spaces. We obtain necessary conditions for the existence of such bundles.

Programmed His Bundle Pacing [PDF]

open access: yesCirculation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology, 2018
Background: During permanent nonselective His bundle (ns-HB) pacing, it is crucial to confirm HB capture/exclude that only right ventricle (RV) myocardial septal pacing is present. Because the effective refractory period (ERP) of the working myocardium is different than the ERP of the HB, we hypothesized that it should be ...
