Cellular distribution of the histamine H3 receptor in the basal ganglia : functional modulation of dopamine and glutamate neurotransmission [PDF]
This is the author's version of a work that was accepted for publication in Basal ganglia. Changes resulting from the publishing process, such as peer review, editing, corrections, structural formatting, and other quality control mechanisms may not be ...

Microbial metabolites in tumor epigenetic regulation
The gut microbiome modulates tumor epigenetic regulation through bioactive metabolites derived from dietary substrates. Microbiota‐produced SCFAs, secondary BAs, one‐carbon metabolites, and tryptophan‐derived ligands regulate histone acetylation, DNA methylation, and chromatin remodeling via HDAC, DNMT, AhR, and metabolic cofactor‐dependent pathways ...

Neurons, immune cells, and other cellular components within the disease microenvironment (such as stromal cells and tumor cells) constitute a dynamically evolving ecosystem. Neurons directly modulate immune cell activity and inflammatory responses through the release of neurotransmitters (e.g., norepinephrine and CGRP), while also promoting tumor ...

Anticonvulsive effect of nonimidazole histamine H3 receptor antagonists
To determine the potential of histamine H3 receptor (H3R) ligands as new antiepileptic drugs (AEDs), aromatic ether, and diether derivatives (1-12) belonging to the nonimidazole class of ligands, with high in-vitro binding affinity at human H3R, were tested for their in-vivo anticonvulsive activity in the maximal electroshock (MES)-induced and ...

Inflammation and Cancer: Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets
Chronic inflammation fuels tumorigenesis via “internal drivers” and “external attractions.” Targeting these core mechanisms with combined therapies/novel deliveries enables precise, potent anti‐inflammatory–antitumor treatment. ABSTRACT Inflammation is a core pathological factor regulating tumor initiation, progression, and therapeutic resistance, and ...

IgH repertoire sequencing of a large atopic dermatitis cohort reveal reduced IgE somatic hypermutation and increased IgE diversity associated with food allergen sensitization. Presence of a dog during the first year of life is associated with increased IgE somatic hypermutation, possibly countering the effect of food sensitization.

Review: Vascular Effects of Histamine [PDF]
Four subtypes of receptors (HFour subtypes of receptors (H1, H2, H3 and H4) mediate the actions of histamine. In the vascular wall, the effects of histamine are mediated via H1 and H2 receptors and the actions are modulated by H3 receptor subtype located

Working model of Adss1‐mediated regulation of energy metabolism in adipose tissue. In beige adipocytes, Adss1 interacts with HDAC3 in the cytoplasm, and its loss reduces nuclear HDAC3 while increasing cytosolic fractions. This redistribution suppresses HDAC activity and enhances H3K27 acetylation at the Gk promoter, leading to transcriptional ...
