Compressive tracking with locality sensitive histograms features
2017 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), 2017Currently, Compressive Tracking (CT) method has drawn great attention because of its high efficiency. However, it cannot well deal with some appearance variations due to its limitations of feature expression and it only uses a fixed parameter to update the appearance model. In order to handle such matters, we propose an adaptive CT method that combines

Histogram ratio features for color texture classification
Pattern Recognition Letters, 2003This paper presents a color texture classification method using ratio features extracted from the color histogram. Combining pairs of bins and computing corresponding count ratios, ratio features are created that characterize the given color texture in an auto-correlative sense.

Fuzzy integrals for combining multiple SVM and histogram features for writer's gender prediction
IET Biometrics, 2017This study addresses automatic prediction of the writer's gender. We propose the use of fuzzy integral (FI) operators to combine support vector machines (SVMs) associated with different local features.

The histogram feature - a resource-efficient Weak Classifier
2008 IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium, 2008This paper presents a Weak Classifier that is extremely fast to compute, yet highly discriminant. This Weak Classifier may be used in, for example, a boosting framework and is the result of a novel way of organizing and evaluating Histograms of Oriented Gradients.

Extended Histogram of Gradients feature for human detection
2010 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2010Unsigned Histogram of Gradients (UHoG) is a popular feature used for human detection. Despite its superior performance as reported in recent literature, an inherent limitation of UHoG is that gradients of opposite directions in a cell are mapped into the same histogram bin.

Steganalysis of Compressed Speech Based on Histogram Features
2010 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Software Engineering, 2010A steganalysis method for analysis-by-synthesis compressed speech based on the histogram features of the pulse position parameter is proposed in this paper. Speech compressed by G.729 coder is taken as an example to illuminate the algorithm. On the basis of analysis to the pulse position histogram characters of cover and stego speech, a new feature ...

Texture segmentation based on local feature histograms
2011 18th IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2011This paper presents a convex vector-valued active contour model for texture segmentation. This model uses histograms of the semi-local region descriptor and image intensity for measuring the similarity of image regions. We use the Quadratic-Chi histogram distance to compare the dissimilarity of histograms.

Proposal of Novel Histogram Features for Face Detection
2005This paper presents novel features for face detection in the paradigm of AdaBoost algorithm. Features are multi-dimensional histograms computed from a set of rectangles in the filtered images, and they represent marginal distributions of these rectangles.
