COMPARATIVE HISTOLOGY OF APPENDICULARIAN TRACT
2001We have examined with light and electron microscopy various species belonging to the three families of appendicularians (Oikopleuridae, Fritillariidae, Kowalevskiidae). All species show a simplification of trunk organs, that is extreme in Fritillariidae and Kowalevskiidae.
