Antipredatory Strategies of Anurans: An Updated Conceptual Review
Ethology, Volume 132, Issue 9, Page 662-708, September 2026.To unravel the evolutionary dynamics of predator–prey interactions, we propose an updated, three‐tiered classification of anuran antipredatory strategies. By mapping non‐behavioral, individual, and group defenses across five functional phases, this integrative framework introduces the concept of synergetic coupling.

Beyond Brunhild: reassessing women in the Fredegar Chronicle
Early Medieval Europe, Volume 34, Issue 3, Page 458-479, August 2026.Scholarly consideration of women in the seventh‐century Fredegar chronicle has long been dominated by the author’s hostility towards Brunhild, queen of Austrasia. Statistical analysis of Latin world chronicles before ad 900, however, shows that Fredegar’s representation of women was unusually high within this tradition.
