Newspaper “Rech” in the July Crisis of 1914
This article examines the position of the newspaper "Rech" during the July crisis of 1914. "Rech", founded in 1906 by the Constitutional Democratic Party (Kadets), was on the eve of the First World War one of the most important liberal organs of the ...

This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Descolonizar a história: epistemologia disruptiva
As estruturas discursivas que se encarregam da reconstituição da experiência antiga e contemporânea dos africanos e dos descendentes de africanos no mundo permanecem marcadas pelas convenções da escrita colonial.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Observational Probes of Dark Energy
The cause for the observed acceleration in the expansion of the universe is unknown, and referred to as "dark energy" for convenience. Dark energy could be an unknown energy component, or a modification of Einstein's general relativity. This dictates the

Spontaneous CP Violation [PDF]
In this talk I begin with some general discussion of the history of CP violation, then move on to aspects of the aspon model including the production of new particles at LHC, implications for B decay, generalized Cabibbo mixing and a reevaluation of kaon

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Indistinguishability of Warm Dark Matter, Modified Gravity, and Coupled Cold Dark Matter
The current accelerated expansion of our universe could be due to an unknown energy component with negative pressure (dark energy) or a modification to general relativity (modified gravity).

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
