Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Attersee represents a good example of a lake situated in the Northern forelands of the Northern Calcareous Alps and influenced by different sediment-supplying processes during the postglacial. Several compounds, of different origin, form the sediments of the basin. Clastics which are mainly composed of dolomites derive from the Northern Calcareous Alps.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.
