Science towards totalitarism: forces of dogmatic marxist orientation in Polish philosophy and history of medicine at the turn of the 1940s and 1950s

Until the 1940s, the Marxist trend associated with the interpretation used by Soviet science was not prominent in Polish philosophy and history of medicine. In the first years after the Second World War, attempts were made to draw on the tradition of the pre-war Polish school of philosophy and history of medicine.
