Abstract Despite extensive research on HIV‐associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND), interest in cognitive rehabilitation has emerged only within the past 15 years. HAND are characterised by mild‐to‐moderate impairments in multiple cognitive domains: attention, episodic memory and executive functions.
