HLA Antigens in Geographic Tongue
Tissue Antigens, 1980HLA‐A,B,C phenotyping was performed on 95 patients with geographic tongue to determine whether there is an increased frequency of any particular allele in this condition. An increased frequency of B15 was found in the patients when compared to normal controls.

HLA Antigens and Affective Disorders
Human Heredity, 1978A total of 168 patients with different types of affective disorders were examined with respect to their HLA antigens. The frequency of the A10 antigen was found to be increased in the patients particularly in those with the unipolar type of disease. The frequency of the A1 antigen was decreased among unipolar patients.

HLA-antigens in the human uvea
Documenta Ophthalmologica, 1986With the use of monoclonal antibodies in an indirect immunofluorescence technique we studied the distribution of Class I (HLA-ABC and B27) and Class II (HLA-DR) antigens in the human uvea. W6/32, directed against the core of HLA-ABC antigens, was used to study the distribution of Class I antigens.

HLA antigens and diabetes [PDF]
It has become increasingly evident that the major histocompatibility complexes (MHCs) which have been found in all vertebrates studied so far, have other functions than creating difficulties for transplant surgeons. From studies in experimental animals and in man, it has been discovered1 that the MHC contains (1) genes controlling antigens on cell ...

HLA antigens in pityriasis versicolor
Tissue Antigens, 1984The distribution of 30 HLA antigens was studied in 48 patients with Pityriasis Versicolor and 134 controls. No significant deviations were found in the patient group after correction for the number of antigens tested.

Distribution of HLA Antigens in Zoroastrians
Tissue Antigens, 1981The frequencies of HLA locus A, B and C antigens were determined in a previously unstudied population, the Zoroastrians. The phenotype and gene frequencies for this group are presented and contrasted with the distribution of HLA antigens among the Iranian Moslems. Comparison of the HLA profiles of these two Iranian populations suggests that the present

Carcinoma of the prostate and HLA antigens
International Urology and Nephrology, 1991A possible association between HLA antigens and carcinoma of the prostate was searched for in 20 patients and 200 healthy kidney donors. HLA antigens A26, A28, B13, B14, B40, Bw4 and Cw4 were more common in patients with carcinoma of the prostate. The relative risk for HLA B14 was 7.78 (95% confidence interval 7.60-8.13). The relative risk for patients

Summary There is convincing evidence of a genetic basis for both psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Part of this genetic predisposition is due to genes within the major histocompatibility complex (MHC). In psoriasis, the primary association is with HLC-Cw6.
