Activation of systemic acquired resistance in citrus to control huanglongbing disease

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Agrárias, 2016
Huanglongbing (HLB) is considered the most destructive citrus disease and occurs in the major citrus producing areas around the world. In Brazil, HLB is associated with the bacteria ‘Candidatus’ Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas) and ‘Candidatus’ Liberibacter

Microemulsion‐Based Drilling Fluids Incorporating Seashell Residue Powder: A Sustainable Approach to Fluid Loss Control

open access: yesJournal of Surfactants and Detergents, EarlyView.
Two microemulsion‐based drilling fluids incorporating SSRP were formulated using pine oil, the nonionic surfactant Alkonat L100W, and a glycerol/water solution. The results provide valuable insights into how surfactant‐assisted microemulsion systems can be engineered to enhance the performance and eco‐efficiency of drilling fluids.

HLB Reduction Strategies

open access: yesEDIS, 2019
Management of huanglongbing (HLB) has focused on reducing the vector Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) and improving tree health, thus requiring a multi-pronged approach. Several elements of an HLB management system are either available or under current investigation.

Temperature robustness and viscoelasticity of soy protein‐stabilized palm oil emulsions containing glycerol monostearate and oat fiber

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract BACKGROUND Most studies of high oil content soy protein‐stabilized emulsions have focused on fluid systems, with limited attention given to the thermo‐mechanical behavior of firm emulsions. This study examined the thermal robustness and mechanical properties of palm oil‐based emulsions stabilized with soy protein isolate, glycerol monostearate

Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometry: Fundamental Principles, Diverse Applications, and the Latest Technological Frontiers

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The review examines the evolution of chemical ionization mass spectrometry (CI‐MS), a technique developed in 1966 by Field and Munson. CI is a soft‐ionization method that produces more intense molecular ions with less fragmentation than electron ionization (EI).

Huanglongbing detection, gene sequencing and cell wall thickness modification in infected Citrus reticulata after chemical treatments. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Huanglongbing (HLB), also known as the citrus greening disease, is a destructive disease that has affected citrus plants in more than 40 countries worldwide. HLB is very difficult to control when the vector is spread in the citriculture areas.
