Advanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 8, March 13, 2025.This article presents a hybrid metal‐dielectric metasurface in transmission mode for mid‐infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Composed of germanium on aluminium cylinders atop a calcium fluoride substrate, the metasurface achieves 80% transmission efficiency at λ = 2.6 µm with a narrow full‐width‐half‐maximum of 0.4 µm.

Inverse‐Designed on‐Chip Terahertz Three‐Channel Mode and Wavelength Division Demultiplexer
Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.An ultracompact terahertz demultiplexer is developed using a hybrid inverse design that combines genetic algorithms with topology optimization. The device enables simultaneous mode‐ and wavelength‐division multiplexing within a footprint smaller than two wavelengths.

Modifying Glucose Metabolism Reverses Memory Defects of Alzheimer's Disease Model at Late Stages
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Using spatial transcriptomics, we show that ferul enanthate (SL‐ZF‐01) reverses episodic‐like memory deficits in aged, but not young, Alzheimer’s disease (AD) mice. SL restores glucose metabolism and Glucose Transporter 1/3 expression via an ‘Aging‐AD‐Rescue’ pattern, rescuing deficits seen in aged AD mice.
