Comparison of p-Tm:YAG, TFL and Ho:YAG's in vitro ablation rates on synthetic and human stones. [PDF]
Abstract Objective To compare in vitro the ablation rates of p‐Tm:YAG, TFL and Ho:YAG against synthetic and human stones. Material and Methods p‐Tm:YAG, TFL and Low‐Power (LP) Ho:YAG were compared using 270 μm core‐diameter laser fibres (CDF); experiments with 200 μm(p‐Tm:YAG) and 150 μm‐CDF (TFL) were also included.

Nanofluid-Enhanced Laser Lithotripsy Using Conducting Polymer Nanoparticles. [PDF]
Incorporating polymeric nanoparticles, PEDOT:PSS, with a high near‐infrared absorption coefficient into the fluid significantly enhances the dusting efficiency of Ho:YAG laser lithotripsy for kidney stone treatment. This approach, which leverages the control of light‐matter interactions, integrates seamlessly with the current laser lithotripsy workflow.

Abstract Background In Zinner syndrome (ZS), surgical intervention is recommended for pediatric patients with symptomatic disease. It is generally believed that cyst aspiration alone may lead to symptom recurrence. Although comprehensive surgical excision is often advocated to prevent recurrence, a combined approach of cyst aspiration and maximal cyst ...
