Allogeneic transplantation after failure of chimeric antigen receptor‐T cells and exposure to bispecific antibodies: Feasibility, safety and survival outcomes

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Summary Clinical outcome after chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)‐T‐cell failure in large B‐cell lymphoma (LBCL) is dismal. Allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT) represents a potentially curative salvage for relapsed/refractory LBCL, although concerns remain regarding its feasibility and safety in patients exposed to CAR‐T and bispecific ...

A predictive serum miRNA signature impacts diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma cell viability via inhibition of EGLN1 and TXNRD1 regulators of ferroptosis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma is a heterogeneous and aggressive pathology. MicroRNAs, deregulated in patient tumours and blood, are promising non‐invasive predictive biomarkers for this pathology. We identified the circulating miR‐200c/421/324 signature both predictive of response to R‐CHOP and correlated with PFS.

CLOX and neurotox: Utility of the clock drawing task in monitoring for immune effector cell‐associated neurotoxicity syndrome following chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell therapy

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Summary Immune effector cell‐associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS)‐associated cognitive impairment is common in patients who receive chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell (CAR‐T) therapy. This study evaluated the utility of the clock drawing task (CDT) in detecting ICANS in patients with haematological cancers following CAR‐T therapy.
